Filladhoo Thila - Baa Atoll

Filladhoo Thila, a modest pinnacle in Baa Atoll, makes for a relaxed dive. We found the top of the thila at around 12 meters, sloping down to a sandy bottom at 22 meters. It’s a good spot for spotting white-tip reef sharks cruising the edges, and we often see moray eels peeking from the cracks. Schools of fusiliers and snappers usually hang around the upper reef. It’s an easy, gentle drift, perfect for beginners looking for a peaceful introduction to Maldivian pinnacles.
