Vaadhoo thila - Baa Atoll

Vaadhoo Thila, sitting in Baa Atoll, offers a pretty reliable dive when the currents are playing nice. It’s a pinnacle, topping out around 26 metres, so intermediate divers will find it comfortable. We’ve often found the best action on the deeper sections, where grey reef sharks cruise the edges. Look for schooling snapper and barracuda hanging out in the blue, and keep an eye on the overhangs for sleeping nurse sharks. It’s a solid morning dive, usually quiet enough to feel like you have the place to yourself.
