With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Back Faru offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Back Faru in North Malé Atoll is a drift dive along a reef wall, best suited for experienced divers comfortable with current. We often find schooling snapper and fusiliers here, hugging the reef for shelter. Keep an eye out into the blue for grey reef sharks patrolling. It's a fairly straightforward dive, good for getting some distance.
