Entrence 110 - North Malé Atoll

Entrence 110 isn’t one of those names that sticks in your head, but the site itself? It's a proper find, especially for those of us who love a good macro hunt mixed with some turtle time. We found this spot particularly rewarding when the light was hitting it just right, early morning or late afternoon, as it really makes the smaller shells and critters pop. The reef here is shallow enough that you get decent bottom time, letting you really comb through the sand and rubble. Our favourite game at Entrence 110 is searching for the humpbacked conch and the sand-dusted cone, they’re beautifully camouflaged and a real reward when you spot one. Don't forget to look up though, because we’ve had some truly fantastic encounters with both olive ridley and green turtles here, often just cruising by, seemingly unbothered. It’s a gentle dive, suited to anyone happy to slow down and explore the details, maybe with a good magnifying glass for your camera rig.
