Entrence 155 - North Malé Atoll

Entrence 155 is a site we keep coming back to in North Malé, and it’s not just for the big stuff, though we do get our share of Green Turtles and the occasional Olive Ridley drifting past. What we really love here is the sheer density of the smaller reef life, especially if you get a chance to poke around the overhangs. The huddle of Humpbacked Conches and Sand-dusted Cones tucked away in the crevices is a particular favourite of ours. It's a dive that rewards slow exploration, letting your eyes adjust to the subtle movements and colours rather than just rushing through. We'd suggest keeping an eye on the currents here; they can pick up, making it a drift if you're not paying attention. But when it's mellow, it's a calm, meditative dive. You'll find yourself absorbed in the details, from the scuttling crabs to the flashes of tiny reef fish. It’s perfect for photographers or anyone who appreciates the quieter side of a bustling atoll.
