With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Lankan Manta Point offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Lankan Manta Point, in North Malé Atoll, is exactly what it sounds like: a cleaning station where mantas reliably gather. We generally find them hovering over the reef at around 10-15 meters, letting wrasse and other small fish do their work. It’s a pretty calm dive, often a gentle drift, making it a good spot for newer divers hoping to get up close with these gentle giants. Just remember to give them space.
