Ocean Pro - North Malé Atoll

Ocean Pro is a proper drift dive, straight through a channel that just pulls you along. We love a good channel dive when the conditions are right, and here, you want that current. It’s what brings in the action. We’ve had barracuda schools so thick they practically blot out the sun here, just hanging in the blue before darting off. Then there are the grey reef sharks, always cruising by, checking you out before disappearing into the gloom. You’ll see plenty of fusiliers too, darting around in their thousands, a shimmering blue curtain that parts as you drift through. We’ve found the best approach is to just relax, let the current do the work, and keep your eyes peeled for those bigger pelagics. It’s not a slow poke kind of dive, and definitely not for those who get nervous in a good flow. This site is for divers who appreciate the rush of a strong current and the incredible marine life it attracts, especially if you’re hoping for some close encounters with sharks and large schools of fish.
