Veligandu east - Rasdhoo Atoll

Veligandu East gives you a nice, easy dive. It’s a good spot to just drift along the reef, particularly if you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon. We’ve seen quite a few Small-eyed Squirrelfish tucked into the overhangs, and the Staghorn corals are pretty widespread across the shallower sections. While there’s always a chance for a Whale Shark to cruise by, you’re more likely to spend your time looking for the smaller stuff like Coral Blennies and Ghost Cardinalfish. Good for divers who want a gentle current and a relaxed pace.
