Why dive here
With 148+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks - Aah Thila offers some of South Ari Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water sits around 29°C.
Aah Thila is a smaller pinnacle in South Ari, often calmer than some of its neighbours. We’ve found it’s a good spot for seeing schools of fusiliers and often a few reef sharks patrolling the edges. It’s a pretty easy dive, suitable for divers comfortable with a gentle drift, and a solid choice if you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon.
