With 148+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks - Ali Thila offers some of South Ari Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Ali Thila is a deep pinnacle dive in South Ari Atoll, best suited for experienced divers comfortable with potential currents. Keep an eye out for grey reef sharks patrolling the deeper sections and schooling fusiliers further up. We've often found whitetip reef sharks resting under the overhangs. This site offers a good chance for pelagic encounters if you hit it at the right time.
