With 148+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles and whale sharks - Ranvelhi Thila offers some of South Ari Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Ranvelhi Thila is a classic Maldivian pinnacle dive, well-suited for drift diving in the South Ari Atoll. We usually find schools of fusiliers and snappers hanging around the top reef, particularly when the current picks up. Look into the blue for grey reef sharks patrolling the edges. It’s a good option for those comfortable with some current.
