Banc du Geyser - Mayotte Lagoon

Ħamrija Bank, just off Comino, offers a good, relaxed dive. We usually drop onto a flat rocky reef that slopes down to around 20 metres. Keep an eye out for painted combers and black gobies darting between the rocks, and often we’ll spot a garrupa lurking in a crevice. It’s a nice option when you want something a bit calmer, maybe if the wind's up on the exposed sites or you just fancy a cruisy dive after exploring the caves. Expect decent visibility, though not always astounding, and generally mild currents.
