With 401+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins and dugongs - Banc du Geyser offers some of Mayotte Lagoon's richest reef diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest February, March, April.
Banc du Geyser is a compelling spot within the vast Mayotte Lagoon. Divers here often encounter oceanic manta rays cruising the reef, a definite highlight. We've also had incredible luck spotting melon-headed whales passing through. It's a site that rewards those comfortable with deeper lagoon diving and keen on pelagic encounters.
