Passe bateau nord - Mayotte Lagoon

Passe Bateau Nord is a solid drift dive in the Mayotte Lagoon. It's not one of those sites that slaps you in the face with a whale shark, but it's reliably good for just coasting along. We've often seen turtles here, green and hawksbill, just cruising by on the current, sometimes a napoleon wrasse or two. The reef itself is healthy, a nice mix of hard corals, and you can spot plenty of schooling fusiliers if you keep an eye out. It’s a good choice for intermediate divers who appreciate a relaxed, current-assisted tour rather than a high-octane pelagic encounter.
