Passe Boueni sud - Mayotte Lagoon
Passe Boueni Sud is a relaxed drift dive, a nice introduction to Mayotte’s lagoon. You’ll gently cruise along a sandy bottom, dotted with coral bommies, mostly hard corals, nothing too flashy. Look closely and you’ll often spot smaller reef fish darting in and out, damselfish, parrotfish. We’ve seen a turtle or two here, slowly munching on seagrass. It’s a good spot for newer divers, or when you just want a chill dive without fighting the current.
