With 401+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins and dugongs - Passe en S #6 offers some of Mayotte Lagoon's richest drift diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest February, March, April.
Passe en S #6 gives you a gentle introduction to Mayotte’s lagoon diving. It’s a drift, so you just relax and let the current carry you over the reef. We found schools of bannerfish and parrotfish meandering along the coral, not in a hurry to get anywhere. It’s shallow, capping out at 20 metres, which makes it an easy dive for new divers or anyone wanting a relaxed afternoon in the water. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff hiding in the coral bommies; there’s always something tucked away.
