Grotte aux Dentelles is a good spot for a relaxed dive along Réunion's west coast, especially if you're looking for something a bit different from the usual reef exploration. We like it for its accessibility; hitting a max depth of 21m makes it a solid choice for newer divers wanting to try a cave. Inside, the walls are carved with interesting patterns, giving the cave its lace-like name. Sunlight filters in from the entrance, creating some pretty cool light shows on calm days. While you won't find a riot of coral inside, it's a calm, atmospheric dive, perfect for practising buoyancy and enjoying the quiet.
