Vallée aux Mérous - Saint-Gilles & West Coast
Vallée aux Mérous is one of those Réunion sites that keeps things interesting, especially if you appreciate a good deep reef dive. We drop down to the sand at around 39 metres, where the real draw is the collection of boulders and overhangs that dot the landscape. As the name suggests, you’ll likely spot plenty of groupers tucked into the crevices, often joined by moray eels peeking out. It's a solid intermediate dive, best for those comfortable with depth and happy to spend their bottom time exploring the nooks and crannies. A good one for a second dive of the day if you’re looking to extend your depth limits just a touch.
