Labriz Dive Center - Inner Islands
The team at Labriz Dive Center really stands out. They’re based on Silhouette Island, which is a big win straight away because it means you're diving in one of the Seychelles’ biggest marine parks. We love that they focus on small groups, even for courses, which makes a huge difference if you're working on your skills or just prefer a more personal experience. These guys are PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, so if you're thinking about going pro or even just want to do your Advanced Open Water somewhere truly special, this is a solid pick. Their house reef, just a short swim from the beach, is surprisingly good for a quick dip or a check-out dive. We've seen turtles munching on seagrass there, often with a curious reef shark passing by. For the deeper stuff, their boats get you out to the walls and pinnacles where the bigger pelagics cruise. We’d suggest an early morning dive if you can swing it; the light hitting the gorgonians is something else, and that's when the grey reef sharks are most active. Just be prepared for potential currents; it’s the open ocean, after all, but the visibility often makes it worth the drift.
