Goda Gala Diyamba - Hikkaduwa & South Coast
Goda Gala Diyamba, a quick boat ride from Unawatuna, is an interesting rock and coral formation worth exploring. We’ve found the bigger fish often hang out here, think trevally and the occasional Napoleon wrasse cruising by. But the real joy, for us at least, comes from slowing down and scanning the coral for nudibranchs – there’s a surprisingly good variety if you take the time. It’s a solid dive for those who appreciate both the bigger pelagics and the smaller critters, without overly challenging conditions.
