Knife Rock - Hikkaduwa & South Coast
Knife Rock is a decent spot for a chill dive in Hikkaduwa. It’s pretty shallow, topping out at around 14 meters, which makes it an easy run for newer divers or those who just want to take it slow. You’ll weave around a few rock formations and keep an eye out for the usual suspects – we’ve often spotted sweetlips lurking under ledges and parrotfish munching on the coral. Visibility can be a bit variable, but on a good day, it’s a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater without battling any strong currents.
