Rangoon Wreck - Hikkaduwa & South Coast
The Rangoon Wreck sits at a respectable 32 metres, making it a dive for those comfortable with deeper profiles. She’s an old steamer, about 60 metres long, and has been down there long enough for some serious growth. We've often found schooling batfish hanging around the main structure, and lionfish tend to patrol the more sheltered sections. While penetration isn't really an option, you can explore the deck and superstructure, poking around for nudibranchs and smaller critters that have made it home. It's a solid wreck dive for anyone looking for something a bit more substantial than the shallower sites in Hikkaduwa.
