Unawatuna Bay Wreck - Hikkaduwa & South Coast
The Unawatuna Bay Wreck is a proper shallow dive, sitting around 6 meters, making it ideal for anyone just getting their fins wet or even snorkelers. We’ve found it’s usually calm in the bay, a gentle introduction to wreck diving without any strong currents to worry about. You can easily spend an hour poking around the remains, spotting small schooling fish, a few moray eels tucked into the crevices, and some colourful parrotfish grazing on the settled coral. It’s not a massive wreck, but there’s enough structure to explore and find little critters hiding.
