Dive 360 Pemba Ltd - Dar es Salaam & Offshore Islands
The team at Dive 360 Pemba Ltd are the real deal if you’re staying at The Manta Resort. Honestly, it’s one of those spots where the dive centre being exclusively for in-house guests actually works in your favour. It means the boats are rarely packed, and the dive guides really get to know what you’re hoping to see. We love that personal touch. They know the Pemba Island sites inside out, particularly the ones just a short boat ride from the resort. Expect drift dives along walls plastered with sponges and gorgonians, where barracuda often hang in the current like silvery sentinels. Our favourite memory is a morning dive at The Edge, dropping down to feel that cool thermocline, then watching a lone reef shark glide past as the sunbeams splintered through the surface. It’s unpretentious diving, focused on solid safety and truly letting the marine life speak for itself. You’re not going to feel rushed here, and that’s a big win in our book. If you’re at The Manta, diving with these guys is a no-brainer.
