ERCK - Vlora
The ERCK wreck, a yacht that went down in 1991 due to an electrical fire, sits upright at a modest 15 meters in Vlora. She’s not massive, just under 19 meters long, but that compact size makes her an easy exploration, perfect for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed dive. We’ve found her superstructure surprisingly intact, with barracuda often hanging off the bow and scorpionfish camouflaged on the decking. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, the light plays nicely through the open areas, highlighting the sponges and anemones now making the old yacht home. It’s a straightforward dive, honest about what it is, and a nice way to spend an hour underwater.
