INDOMITO - Vlora
Indomito is a fishing vessel, tangled and broken. It’s certainly not one of those pristine wrecks sitting neatly on the seabed, ready for exploration. This one is more like a scattered graveyard of metal, spread across the sand at 15 metres. We love how the wreck site feels like an archaeological dig, each bent beam and rusty plate telling a story of its demise. You’ll weave between large, collapsed sections, where schools of small damselfish dart in and out of the shadows. Look closely, and you’ll spot scorpionfish camouflaged against the rust, or a curious octopus peeking from a crevice. It’s an easy dive, perfectly suited for those who appreciate the history and the way the sea reclaims what's lost, rather than big swim-throughs. Our favourite part is finding the anchor chain, stretching out from the main debris field, guiding you back towards the boat. Head out in the morning; the light filtering through the shallower parts of the wreck is beautiful.
