S-57 wreck - Dubrovnik & South Coast
The S-57 wreck off Dubrovnik offers a decent enough dive for those seeking a peek into Croatia’s wartime past. It’s not the most intact wreck we’ve ever seen, but its broken hull pieces are home to plenty of scorpionfish, and you’ll often spot crabs scuttling amongst the metal. Visibility can be a bit variable here, so we’d suggest checking conditions beforehand, but on a good day, the light plays nicely on the scattered debris. It’s a good choice for divers who enjoy exploring history, without needing a full penetration dive.
