    StandoutRich in charismatic marine life

Dropping onto the Stuka in the Kornati Islands feels like stepping into a time capsule. The Junkers Ju 87 itself is largely intact, resting on the seabed, a surprisingly stark silhouette against the blue. We often find pearl-side schooling around the tail section, and those distinctive wings offer plenty of nooks for dwarf bobtail squid to hide, if you have a keen eye. Exploring the cockpit area, you might spot a curious brown comber darting between the gauges, or even a coiled octopus tucked away. It’s a compelling piece of history underwater, best suited for those who appreciate wreck diving with a side of macro discovery.

    Safety Notes

Wreck site - avoid penetration without wreck diving certification. Watch for sharp metal and entanglement hazards.
