TIZIANO (?TIZIANO D) - Kornati Islands

Forget your deep, dark wrecks for a minute. The Tiziano sits proudly at 17 metres, a genuinely comfortable depth that lets you really soak it all in without rushing. We love how the light still plays on her decks, illuminating the details of this old tug. You can swim right into the wheelhouse, seeing where the steering once was, and then explore the engine room, which is surprisingly open. Groupers hang out in the shadows, and schools of damselfish flit around the superstructure, a stark contrast to the corroding metal. It’s an ideal site for anyone keen on wreck photography or just getting started with wreck diving, offering plenty of nooks and crannies without any tight squeezes. Our favourite is the stern, where the prop is still mostly intact, drawing in clouds of smaller fish.
