MTB 372 - Split & Central Dalmatia
The MTB 372 is a standout for us, a proper technical dive that rewards the effort. Dropping down to 60 metres, you're greeted by the ghostly outline of a torpedo boat, sunk by surface craft in 1944. It’s a somber site, but endlessly fascinating. We love exploring the bow and stern, imagining the chaos of its final moments. The wreck itself, while not huge at 21.9m, has become a home for all sorts of Mediterranean critters. Look for moray eels peeking from crevices and schools of small fish darting in and out of the superstructure. The visibility here can be incredible, sometimes pushing 30 metres, giving you a real sense of the wreck's scale against the deep blue. We always suggest bringing a good torch; there are some intriguing nooks and crannies that truly come alive under a focused beam. This site is definitely one for experienced technical divers comfortable with depth and overhead environments.
