Nemesis III - Larnaca

The Nemesis III sits upright on the seabed, a patrol boat scuttled in 2013, and it’s become one of our favourite Larnaca dives for a reason. Drop down the line and you immediately feel the boat's presence, the deck still largely intact. It’s a proper penetration dive for those with the right training; you can swim through the bridge, past the galley, and into the engine room, a real maze of exposed pipes and rusting machinery. Outside, the boat is blanketed in eelgrass, a vibrant green against the grey steel, creating perfect camouflage for the Marbled Spinefoot and schools of Rhomboid Sweepers that dart in and out of the superstructure. Keep an eye out for Redcoat lurking in the darker corners and the occasional Seahorse clinging to a railing – they’re shy but often there. We’d suggest going in the morning; the light catches the upper deck beautifully then, making the colours pop. It’s a solid dive for anyone comfortable with a bit of depth and a love for wreck exploration.
