The team at Herbies Diving Paradise, Ltd. are our go-to for diving in Larnaca. They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, which means they’re serious about instruction, from beginner courses right through to instructor development. We love their relaxed, friendly approach; it feels less like a school and more like diving with a group of mates, especially good if you’re looking to level up your skills in a low-pressure environment. What makes them special, beyond the excellent training, is their deep local knowledge. They really know the Larnaca sites, not just the famous ones, but the quieter spots too. They’re great at reading conditions, so you’re always heading out when it’s best. Our favourite dives with them often involve the Zenobia Wreck, but they’ll also take you to some fascinating reef and wall dives that other centres overlook. Expect clear, warm water for most of the year, though we'd suggest spring or autumn for fewer crowds and still excellent visibility. They’re perfect for divers who want quality training alongside genuine, unhurried fun.
