With 213+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, great white sharks, hammerhead sharks and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Roc noir offers some of Corsica's richest diving. Water ranges 15-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Roc noir is a shallow site, topping out at 13 meters, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon. We’ve found barracuda often hang out here, along with moray eels tucked into the rock crevices. The site is pretty exposed, so check the forecast for strong easterly winds; they can make the surface choppy. It’s a solid spot for a second dive or a check-out dive.
