Merou Grouper City - Corsica
Merou Grouper City. The name says it all, really. And yes, it absolutely delivers on the promise. This isn't a vast, dramatic wall dive or a drift full of pelagics. Instead, it’s a sheltered spot, shallow, easy for even new divers, but utterly packed with giant groupers. We're talking fish the size of small dogs, cruising around, completely unbothered by your presence. Drop in and you'll find them almost immediately, lurking in the shadows of the rocks or just casually finning past your mask. We love how curious they are; often they’ll just hang there, eyeing you up, letting you get close enough to see the texture on their skin. Beyond the star attraction, keep an eye out for the vibrant sunset cup coral splashed across the rock faces and the colourful flashes of green wrasse darting between crevices. It’s an incredible experience to be surrounded by such magnificent, confident fish in their own element. Our advice? Go slow, settle in, and just observe. You’ll be rewarded.
