With 213+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, great white sharks, hammerhead sharks and mobula rays (devil rays) - Punta Morcone offers some of Corsica's richest diving. Water ranges 15-28°C, warmest July, August, September.
Punta Morcone is a straightforward dive, well-suited for newer divers getting comfortable in the water. We usually drop onto a sandy bottom that gently slopes down to around 21 metres. Look out for the occasional octopus or small ray tucked into the sand, and schools of damselfish flitting around the scattered rocks. It's a relaxed spot for a pleasant afternoon dive.
