Why dive here
With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - 3 îlots offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water sits around 14°C.
The 3 îlots site offers an easy dive for intermediate divers, dropping to 42 metres. We often find schooling barracuda here, and occasionally spot an eagle ray gliding past. It's a relaxed spot for getting some depth in, especially if you want to avoid the busier routes. Not a showstopper, but always reliable for a solid Mediterranean dive.
