With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Aritay offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Aritay, tucked into the Calanques, gives you a classic Mediterranean wall dive. We often find good visibility here, revealing rocky overhangs and crevices where moray eels hide. It’s a straightforward dive, well-suited for those looking for a relaxed exploration rather than strong currents or big pelagics. Expect to see plenty of damselfish and small wrasse darting around the rock formations.
