With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Bilitis offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Bilitis is a straightforward dive in the Calanques, a good spot for newer divers getting comfortable with the local conditions. Dropping to 24 metres, you’ll navigate a series of rocky outcrops and small gorgonian patches. Keep an eye out for octopus tucked into crevices and small groupers patrolling the rocks. It’s an easy, relaxed dive, ideal for shaking off the rust or practicing skills.
