With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Goul de la Tannerie offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Goul de la Tannerie, in the Calanques, gives you a wall dive that typically goes down to around 20 metres. The focus here is less on big fish and more on the smaller critters tucked into crevices. It's a decent spot for a relaxed dive, good for photographers keen on macro shots. We've often seen nudibranchs and small crabs.
