L' Arche - Marseille & Calanques
L'Arche offers a solid intermediate cave dive, a good pick when you're looking to explore some of the more dramatic topography around Marseille. Dropping to a max of 29m, the main draw here is the archway itself, a natural rock formation you can swim through. Light plays nicely through the opening on sunny days, illuminating the gorgonian fans clinging to the rock walls. We've often spotted moray eels tucked into the crevices and plenty of schooling damselfish darting about. It's a great choice for divers comfortable with overhead environments and keen to experience a classic Mediterranean cave.
