La grande Grenille - Marseille & Calanques
La Grande Grenouille, or "The Big Frog," is a gentle introduction to diving in the Calanques. At a consistent 17 meters, it’s a site where we often take newer divers to get comfortable. The topography here is interesting, with a series of small, rocky overhangs that provide shelter for moray eels, and we’ve spotted octopuses tucked away in crevices more than once. Keep an eye out for colourful nudibranchs on the rock walls. It’s a relaxed dive, usually with minimal current, and a good spot to simply enjoy being underwater without too many demands.
