With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - La Love offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest reef diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
La Love sits just outside Marseille, a site we'd suggest for less experienced divers or those looking for an easy second dive. It’s a gentle slope down to around 15 metres, often sheltered from the mistral. You'll find plenty of small Mediterranean reef fish here, like wrasse and gobies, tucked into crevices. It's a relaxed spot, good for stretching out a long bottom time.
