La Roche aux Merous, just outside Marseille, lives up to its name, translating directly to 'Grouper Rock'. We often find a good number of these impressive fish here, sometimes wary, sometimes curious. The rock itself provides interesting swim-throughs and crevices, making it a good spot for divers who enjoy exploring rocky topography rather than vast coralscapes. It's generally a straightforward dive, suitable for most experience levels when conditions are calm.
