La Vaquette - Marseille & Calanques
La Vaquette is a really solid choice if you're just getting started diving around Marseille. It’s a gentle slope down to 18 meters, making it perfect for those still working on their buoyancy or getting comfortable in the Mediterranean. We often find small scorpionfish tucked into the rocks and occasionally a moray eel peeking out. Visibility here is usually decent, and the currents are rarely an issue, so you can just relax and enjoy the calm pace. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but for a chilled-out dive, it absolutely delivers.
