La Vedette des Fromages, or "The Cheese Boat," is one of those charming wrecks that just feel… French. Lying between 15 and 30 metres, it’s a small, wooden patrol boat, likely from WWII, now well-colonised by the Mediterranean. We like to follow the broken hull, watching moray eels peek from dark crevices and schools of damselfish flitting through the beams. It’s not a huge wreck, so you get plenty of time for a thorough look around without feeling rushed, making it a good choice for newer wreck divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon dive. The visibility here can be quite good, especially in late summer and early autumn.
