With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Chameau offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Chameau sits at 27 metres, a good spot for intermediate divers looking for a straightforward dive. It's mostly rocky seabed here, with some scattered gorgonians clinging to the walls. We’ve seen octopuses tucked into crevices and moray eels peeking out. It’s a solid dive if you’re in the area and want to log some time underwater without too much fuss.
