With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Haricot offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Haricot is a straightforward dive, popular with local clubs for training and easy recreational dives. You’ll find a gently sloping reef, typical of the Calanques, with a good chance of spotting scorpionfish tucked into crevices and small schools of damselfish. It’s a solid choice for newer divers looking for calm conditions or for experienced divers wanting a relaxed second dive. We’d suggest going early to avoid the weekend crowds.
