Why dive here
With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Kleber offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Kleber offers a straightforward dive, popular with local clubs for its ease of access and sheltered conditions. You'll find a series of rocky outcrops creating small swim-throughs, with plenty of scorpionfish tucked into crevices and small schools of damselfish flitting about. It's a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon dip without strong currents. We often use it for skill refreshers.
