With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Masque offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Masque delivers a straightforward Mediterranean dive, a good pick for intermediate divers comfortable at 28 metres. The site is a decent wall, not spectacular, but you'll find plenty of nudibranchs if you slow down and look closely. It’s also home to some decent-sized groupers that are often curious enough to come closer. We like it as a reliable second dive, generally calm and offering a relaxed profile.
