With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Rascoui offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest reef diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Rascoui offers a straightforward dive, popular with local dive centres for its reliability. You'll find a wall dropping down, home to a decent collection of Mediterranean reef fish and some colourful gorgonians. It’s a good choice for newer divers looking for an easy introduction to the area, or for experienced divers wanting a relaxed second dive. We’ve found the visibility here to be pretty consistent, often around 15-20 metres on a good day.
