With 157+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and mobula rays (devil rays) - Le Saint-Lucien offers some of Marseille & Calanques's richest diving. Water ranges 14-25°C, warmest July, August, September.
Le Saint-Lucien offers a straightforward dive, popular with local dive centres for training and refreshers. We’ve found it’s a good spot for newer divers to get comfortable, with easy navigation around scattered rocks and the chance to spot small Mediterranean wrasse and blennies. Expect typical Mediterranean visibility, usually around 10-15 metres. It’s a solid choice if you're looking for an uncomplicated dive in the area.
